[PSA] Buying the Bit.Trip Collection on Steam will add extra copies of the ones you already own

You will get a warning at checkout when you go to buy the collection that you won't get any extra copies of games you already own but an extra copy of the ones I already had were added to my account after I bought it. The only one that apparently won't give an extra copy is Bit.Trip FLUX.

i'm a bit confused. if you already owned them all, why did you buy them again? if you didn't own them all, how do you know flux is the only one that won't give extra copy? O.o

Well I had Bit.Trip Runner 1 and 2 and Bit.Trip Beat and got extra copies of those after buying the collection. I've read that it works with all of them except Flux.

This is particularly awesome if you don't already have the soundtrack, because you get the soundtrack as part of the package, yet you also get the extra copy of the game (with soundtrack) just for owning the base game already.

Here you can see what exactly can you get as gift copies, up to 6 of them (OnPurchaseGrantGuestPassPackage).
