Isn't it a shame? I think its doing more bad then good honestly, personally when I see that much DLC I walk away, thats a lost sale.

Yeah. I've seen Borderlands 2 cheap quite a few times but with all the DLC I'm just gonna wait until 75% off the GOTY edition when it eventually comes out.

Get only Season Pass with story DLC's. The rest of DLC's are not worth the money IMO.

Yeah and Mech and Psycho are nothing special IMO. I think only big DLC's are worth something. I mean those that have new missions, new story and stuff like that.

Got Mech free as preorder bonus. It does open up completely new playing styles, so if you would enjoy the new styles it's probably worth the money. Krieg I wouldn't pay full price for, as he also looks to play very different from the other classes, but not in a way I'd like (I'm normally not enjoying melee-focus in FPS games). I'll probably wait for a deep discount on him, then pick him up for completeness.
The story DLCs - eh, I don't regret getting the season pass, but like Borderlands 1 each of the packs so far has something that falls flat for everything that works out fine. (Captain Scarlett has best levels, but overall story and sidequests were kinda blah. Torgue has funniest characters & events, but overall poor levels apart from the city & bar where Pyro Pete is found. Hammerlock has really good new enemies gameplay-wise and has solid maps, but the missions are really bland). If I'd had to buy them individually, after the first I'd probably wait on discounts for the rest.
The other DLCs I really find overpriced. The Creature Dome just shouldn't have been cut from the game to make a preorder bonus out of it, the collector's edition stuff is pretty forgettable, and the costumes I don't care about when there's enough of them in the game already.

No one is making you to purchase the additional content. The Season Pass for the Story DLC's was 2 months ago 12$ on GMG which is the amount you pay for a normal DLC and a fifth/half of another. And it saved me 33$ ( Counting the level raise cap upgrade dlc ). Besides the season pass, no other dlc actually is necessary since the others are just arenas and aesthetic stuff.

Everytime I click a private giveaway it's for something I own.
I enjoyed the first one though. I beat the retail copy with most of the classes.
Now I'm just waiting for the 2nd one to have a GOTY.

And most of them are white and green that you'll only use at the beginning of the game. Then there's your gun preferences, you won't use all types of weaponry at the same playthrough. After that there's level difference and you won't use the starter weapon ( either the quest reward pistol or gearbox items ) all the way to lvl 61. After that there's different manufacturers and elements, and the stats that differs on all the weapons. So yeah, 27 slots are ok.

I dunno man, I used to hoard guns in Borderlands 1 just for their unique abilities (TK's Shotgun had a wave bullet pattern, pretty neat) so the obtainable slots weren't enough, but yes, I see your point :P It might be enough if you only keep what you definitely use.
