Tried the demo and it still uses GFWL.
People have also said their games haven't updated to remove GFWL.

Not Sure EA is allowed to update their Steam stuff now. Dead Space in Steam didn't get the recent updates that Origin did, being cloud saving and better file compression.

I'm sure they do. They just forget about it. In a same way they were forgetting to adjust the prices of various old games in Euro-Steam, leaving them at €50.

I'm pretty sure they didn't get that much sales of €50 Alice, didn't changed it until this year...

Anyway, it was more of an "forget" - they know they exist, they just don't care.

I still didn't see any promiss from EA to fix the multiplayer on the game. I seriously hope they do it..
