+1.
I wouldn't feel comfortable doing this myself. If nothing else, it's very much against the ethos of the site.

If you activate the game when you win it, it should be fine.
It makes even more sense if you give your extra (original) game away. You won a game, you tried it, you liked it, and you wanted someone else to enjoy that experience :)
[NOTE: I am not in any way affiliated with the SteamGifts mods.]

If it was my giveaway, I'd request a re-roll, definitely.

Yes, you can do that. However, the person making the giveaway might not be hapy to see it's game go to someone who already have a copy in inventory. There are games like Fortix or Secrets of the Magic Crystals that people don't want to buy for themselves, they want to win it. So they may have a copy in inventory that they plan to give away at some point but are still trying to win on the site. But sitting on a game while trying to win it is morally questionable, even if not against the rules.

Let's say I buy a game and add it to my inventory. If I hadn't activated it at the time of a giveaway, would I be allowed to enter that giveaway and then give the copy I bought to someone else? Would I be able to make a giveaway for that copy?
Note: I haven't actually done any of this. I'm just curious as to whether it's within the rules or not.
