I saw this game on steam, and it got my attention, nice idea, good graphics and it has RPG elements, just the way I like. But the price is kinda of low for what I expect from a just released game like that. So anyone playing this can tell me if its good or bad?

I'm afraid to buy it thinking I'm buying one Fallout-like game, and buy one Zeno Clash-like game.

Please advise :D

I just saw the trailer an hour ago and it intrigues me. Considering this is an indie game it's good to buy, so I bought it. Haven't buy a game in 1 month so I figure why not? The games in the market right now are just Star Trek and Dead Island Riptide so better to buy this. Only 2.5 GB data.

This is the game footage. It looks like the Witcher 2, I like that game.

Ah, cool, thanks for the vid! It indeed looks good! I'm really impressed that it has only 2.5GB! I will for sure buy it :D I like to give indie games an opportunity because most time they can surprise me on how good they are.

Yep. Like Walking Dead and Mount and Blade, 100 hours to that game. Played this game for 3 hours already and I have to say, it's impressive. The combat is like the Witcher 2, graphic looks good, story is interesting, voice acting is decent and considering it's an Indie game without a single glitch in sight, It's definitely worth twice the money.

Looks quite good for an indie. If only I didn't plan on getting FC3: Blood Dragon next week.

Saw the combat trailer, the AI looks pretty stiff. But the video was posted few months ago. I'm waiting for somebody to write a review.

I played the game for 3 hours straight now and it's surprisingly good. The combat is just like the Witcher 2 only with no magic. Not really, you'll get to use it further into the game. Pretty fun to do the combat, it's fluid and you get a bunch of different abilities and weapons to use. The enemy AI is tough and they will kill you easily if you don't know what you are doing. Recommend to dodge often and do guard breaks for blocking enemies. Quests system is pretty straightforward like a typical rpg, more impressive though is how the game looks good. Lips are a bit stiff when people talk but they get the wordings right. This game looks even better than most games nowadays, and for an indie game it's well done with not a single glitch in sight.

Slight problems with the game though, the dialogue sometimes stops just before the text ends, but that's only for a very long dialogue with long subtitles.

Welcome to Steamgifts.com forum. :D The stiff lips are probably because they have the game translated to multiple languages.

Be sure to write a full review later.

I don't think I can review the game yet, I mean I'm only 1/4 finished with the game. Buuut, if you so insist, I'll give a brief summary.

Story: decent (70). Pretty straightforward stuff, you're a prisoner on mars and you have to run from the prison complex, while being in the middle of a dispute between 2 guilds: Aurora and Abundance. These two are one of the four water companies that dominates Mars, the other 2 I haven't found out what they are but I'll find out when I'm far. The prison is run by Abundance, and apparently after you get away from the prison, there's still more story to unfold outside of it and you enter Aurora's territory. Can't wait to find out.

Graphics: for a 2.5 GB game, it's excellent 80. It looks better than average, with only stiff lips on the characters but that's ok. This is the kind of graphic that Red Faction Guerrilla uses, only better. Surprising. No glitch in sight.

Sound: Great 80. Voice acting is pretty good. Funny thing is this Innocence fellow, the narrator and party member, is supposed to be a teenager but he sounds older than the main character. Pretty good soundtrack too, both normal and battle music is appropriate.

Gameplay: Great 85 just like Witcher 2. If you played that game, you'll know what to expect most of the time, except in this game there's no potion brewing or meditation, instead it's item crafting. You can modify your equipment to make it better with crafting. Combat is fun and challenging, each enemies needs different strategy to beat them, and there's 3 skill trees you can develop. Combat, Renegade, and Technomancy. Renegade increases your using of item and stealth skills, Combat increases, well, combat skills, and technomancy increases the magic skill. I haven't got far enough to use technomancy, but looking at the skill tree, it's based on shield and electricity, and this is the skills Aurora high level enemies use in game.

Overall, 80. It's definitely worth $20 if not more than that. I rather play this than the other third person shooter crap in the market right now. This and Poker night 2 are the only games I bought this month, and it's great fun.

No problem and Have fun. I'm 6 hours in and I finally got the magic ability. Not really magic though because it's an arm glove that allows for electric energy. Pretty awesome to use.
