do you guys and girls workout?

In what did you get better since you started workingout?

I do I was at the gym for about 2 months but they closed (I don't know why) so I do street workout with my friends .

i'm working out for about 4 months and I got better with pull ups 4 months ago I couldn't do 3 pull ups and now I can do about 25-30 pull ups.(btw i'm only 15.6 years old)

now you guy lets see if you sit all day in front of your computers or if there is more people here who care about their health and body so they are working out.

I do aquatic aerobics, yoga, and sometimes lifting weights.
Gotten better at flexibility (suprise suprise) and I suppose maybe endurance, but that ones hard to notice.

well that's nice seeing more people who care about their body :) keep going like that and I bet that if you will keep with working out and everything will be easy to notice.

My work is active. I have not yet added separate workouts to my schedule.

It has resulted in weight loss, plus increased muscle mass.

What is street workout?

I workout. I did mma for 4 years and now I'm a gymnast, so I'd like to believe I'm in good shape. I'm not super jacked or anything, but I'm fit. I'm not really into getting 'big', because I'm no meathead.

Street workout is when you go out to the street and see all kind of stuff that you can use like workingout stuff for you.

example: you see a pole you get to it and start doing human flag and training on that.

Hm, I see. Well I used to break dance and parkour. But that was 2 years ago.

I think I prefer a standard gym with dumb bells, treadmills, benches, etc, rather than working out on the street.

Nope. Too lazy for that. Would rather spend the little free time I have for something else rather than exhausting myself while repeating some boring exercise.

Does carrying a very very heavy backpack on my back and living on the 3-rd floor of a building without an elevator count? :D

Hhh i live on the 8th floor with elivator but I still go down the stairs

Going down the stairs is easy. It's going up with a several kilogram heavy backpack AND food supplies that weight several more kilos in every hand that's painful. :D
(Or at least it's painful on the fingers, ouch.)

Reminds me of my university life >_< Although I lived on the 22nd floor and rarely used any stairs at all (still had to walk there from the super market though!)

I exercise 2-3 times a week. Really basic stuff to keep me in decent shape.

I don't exercise on my own at all. I usually have someone active jobs though. I just have a certain weight I make sure I don't go above. When I get close, I stop eating like shit and drop some pounds.

Hopefully I'll be picking up this temp gig at UPS which will kick my ass every day.

I workout, and play non-stop with my two kids that keep me busy and active. My favorite quote is from a poster at my doctor's office that read, "eat right, exercise daily, and die anyways."

Yes - Weights, rowing machine and a few press-ups/sit-ups every day, and play a bit of sport.

I'm not remotely muscular, and nor do I care about that in the slightest. Just don't want to reach forty and find that the only muscles in my body that still work are in my "right-clicking" finger...

I am impressed that you worked out your English by making this thread :) No seriously though it is much better than that of some people who post in these forums.

On a more serious note, I too work out. I do a 6km jog every day and have not increased my distance for quite a few months now because I focus on speed instead. Apart from that I lift 5 days a week. My focal points at the moment are: Torso (trapezius, chest, obliques, abs) Arms (biceps, triceps, brachioradialis) Legs (quadriceps, bicep femoris, calf, tibialis anterior). I don't work my back at all :/ and I'm not happy with my chest because I think with allot of work I can improve it substantially. Of course I stretch every morning, after every run, and after every workout because that prevents muscle pain and stimulates the blood flow and helps muscle growth. I have been working out seriously for just over 5 years though, although there are some exercises that I have only added in a year ago as I did not want to stunt my growth (I am 18 now). I doubt I will stop for many years to come as I have a fat-phobia but at some point I might decide to stop increasing my weight and reps.

I used to be in st john's competition team, which means we had to do like a dozen laps around the field,300+ push ups etc in quick succession without any rest within a limited time. But it's been some time since I did anything though.

I just go to the school gym for like . . . an hour a day, either lift weights or run mostly, I really can't stand squats. I guess overall I've become physically stronger and more toned than before, but I just try to stay not-unhealthy.
