Am I the only one here that's a little tired of seeing nothing but Darwinia, Multiwinia, etc. giveaways? I'm not saying that I'm unthankful for the chance to win something, I was just wondering if anyone else out there is tired of seeing those games everywhere.

The abundance of bundle games are nothing new to Steamgifts. As idraneone stated, add them to your SG Plus (or install SG Plus), filter.

I'm trying to win them, entered like 100 giveaways but nothing, anyway if you don't want to see them you can install sg plus and add them to the filters!

Why don't you do something to reduce the proportion giving away other games?

Use the SG Plus addon if you don't want to see giveaways for a certain game. There are certainly many people who are trying to win those games, and they're thankful for every chance (at least the should be). I'm personally not interested in those games, but it makes me happy to see people are contributing.

if u dont want to get greasemonkey browser addon + steamgifts plus script for filtering some games you can simply buy the 1$ Bundle and sync your account. then they are gone too.^^

I bought the bundle so I wouldn't see giveaways for Darwinia, Multiwinia, Uplink or Defcon anymore. I figured it was win/win/win.

Which bundle is that? Trying to find it but no success.

It was in IndieGala Colossus, which ended a week ago, I think. And not $1, but locked to the BTA tier.

It's still laggy as hell. I wish they'd just ban the bundles games already.

Lol you gave away bundle games and want them to be banned, nice job!

One friend give me Multiwinia long ago and I finally win Darwinia on Game Miner and I'm happy! :D

People give what they have, and with those currently being in a bundle, lots of people have them to gift. Only way to avoid it is to filter it out with either addons or by having it owned.

Besides, I'm sure there is more Fortix here than the count for either of those games.

Actually no, as for consecutive giveaways at once Multiwinia has Fortix beat. Just look at that spike.

...I'm still trying to win Multiwinia.

I own Multiwinia but not Darwinia. Which ones more fun?

1 decade ago
Permalink

I liked Darwinia more. Maybe because when I tried Multiwinia you had to be extremely lucky to find even one (out of ~5) server that isn't completely full (though that could have changed after that sudden spike in giveaways) and its SP isn't very fun.
