It's not about hating, and I do disagree with your methods because it's futile. I'm just saying that you're not helping any situation that involves such self-centered braggarts as the ones you described when you decide to call them out on their bullshit in the same manner. It especially doesn't help when its on the internet, because you're calling them out in front of an audience. You end up looking as bad as the person you call out in the end. People who brag on impossible or stupid shit in front of a crowd are the kind of people who take satisfaction in the fact that you reacted to it, and will keep doing it because they know people like you will keep reacting. In other words, if you decide to play their game, you won't win. I can't stand that type of behavior either, but replying and finger-pointing only escalates the situation. This is why internet trolls exist, because they know this. It's best to just leave the comment be and walk away, because otherwise you'll only cause yourself an unnecessary headache.

Also, regarding your last sentence: real mature. You tell people to stop doing something, and the moment someone tells you the exact same thing, you flip out on them and tell them they don't have the right to tell you what to do. That's not only immature, that's the textbook definition of hypocrisy. So, to prove two points with one example, I'll reiterate my last comment: What you're doing. Stop it.

1. Tell someone on the internet to "stop what they're doing"
2. Get told to "stop what you're doing" in response
3. Reply with "YOU DON'T GET TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO!"
4. ...
5. PROFIT!
