The only one i can think of off the top of my head is Port Royal 3,if you happen to get the weed emote it sells for a nice sum,but sadly any game that has emotes or what not that sell for higher prices because of demand tend to cost more to craft the badge.
So in short finding a badge with a good deal that has popular emotes or what not is not going to happen,as the Port Royal price per badge usually hovers around 1.50-2.00 or so.Good news is the weed is a common emote,so at least it is not rare,but still it sells for around 6-7 dollars so unless you get it first drop you have to invest a bit into it.
In the end i think trying to do this just to profit off badges can and will be a money pit.If it was a way to profit with little money more would be doing it.

And i was just saying it is high risk,and that most badges that have stuff worth money tend to cost more to badge...
In fact i had one friend who is a badge whore who spent money to get to level 5 on Port Royal and 5 times never got the weed one,had another friend who got 2 out of 5 badges they crafted..either case at the time both spent over 10 bucks to hit level 5 and only one profited by getting 2 weed emotes.

Anyhow my point is it high risk and the odds of you getting a good share of the money back is slim...look at the price of this badge,hell even the rare emote is worth only 32 cents and the badge cost like 2.00,so yes no matter what you will get money back,but in high odds are it will be the 7 cent or less emotes.and the other commons are 7 cents or less minus the weed one.I am just saying in most cases you will lose ..
And if you want to do level your better of finding cheap badges to get a higher level then messing about with rare emote badges and higher prices.

Yes, I already realise that. That's why I asked for games that has expensive emoticons and backgrounds. A lot of comments provided those. For example MoonBase Commander has two common backgrounds that sel for $3-$4 and that's more than the badge cost itself.

Fair enough but what people ask for it on the market and what it sells for are two different figures so keep that in mind,people tend to ask stupid prices for something that has no price history or nobody has any listed.
What inflates prices is demand not what someone thinks it is worth.That is why Port Royal Weed emote is always worth usually 5-6 dollars as there are a lot who just want that emote and could care less about badges.
Moonbase backgrounds one is what 3.53 but the lowest buy order is 1.64 so odds are you not get anyonr to pay even close to the 2.00 for it,given that people who really want it put a buy order of less then that.And the badge will cost more then that to craft.So high odds you will still loose,knowing how the market works and how easy something will sell is more important then asking price imo.

In the end you can do what you want,i am sharing my experience in crafting badges and also selling on the market and was just saying that it is a money pit and if you just want to do levels y ou will level up a lot quick buying cheap badges to craft vs this way but eh your money your choice.
Also keep in mind you could craft a level 5 badge and get 5 cheap emotes or backgrounds happened to me over winter sale for event badge i got 5 same emotes for 5 badges in a row.Banking on getting something worth something when it say has 5 emotes means you have a 1 in 5 chance of getting the emote you want.

I know how the market works and I definitely know how crafting badges work. The MoonBase backgrounds are demandble, I remember seeing one dude having Galaxies as his background and I was like I'd pay anything to get this fancy looking background. If a product is good enough for its price, except people to pay anything for it.

Those are rare,and most of the time when you call them out on it,you realize it was just a bluff and they where not serious.
Only one of the backgrounds has a buy order of 3 something,trust me i have listed a lot of items for one cent cheaper then someone asking price just to have it sit on the market for ever.I find that if i list it for a little more then the lowest buy order most of the time the person will spend a little extra for said item.
If there are people willing to pay anything for said trinkets,then there wold be a lot less for the moon base backgrounds.Giving there are 4 for sale for the one background that has a asking price closer to the lowest buy order and still for sale tells me nobody is willing to pay said asking price to get them,other wise there would be none left.
Which tells me people want it,but not for the asking price which is the point of the buy order to put in the most your willing to pay,so that tells me the sell price is to high other wise it would be sold out and none left there where some who are willing to pay anything.
I would still like to know if you are wiling to share,what badges you crafted and what drops you got and if you made anything and so on.

I've tried to craft a duet 5 levels badge yesterday hoping to get :duetblock: that I can easily sell for $6 up to $15 according to the graph. I only got :meh: :duetaddict: and :duetgrill: that are around $0.5 less than I actually spent for the whole badge.
