Yeah, I understand if you are eager to play it immediately. I'm a bit of a patient gamer when it comes to watching prices drop before I buy.

Knowing this franchise, they rarely drop their price until the next installment comes. It's totally worth buying for me. I just need to slap some controllers to my laptop and an HDMI cord to my big TV and I got a quality time playing with my siblings and wife :)

As for the game, its a good deal if you're into NBA. I personally fell off NBA since Jay z became executive producer. I'm not sure if he still is or if the franchise is better than '13 but I lost my interest in it anyways.

They've made giveaways, won them as well. They actually did show off a good deal for NBA fans as well. Maybe I'm missing something here, but a licensed sports game being more than 50% off in the first 6 months is actually a surprisingly good deal.
