You're very much welcome to share your cake! Others will share their cakes with you aswell - on their cakedays aswell as on yours (:
Even if you don't make a thread, if you comment anywhere people will notice.. and they will demand cake... a lot of it...!

Taste is a figment of ones imagination.... the taste happens in the brain like comparable to phantom pain felt in arms or legs that are no longer there...
So taste is,created in the mind... science And biologically speaking... you could therefore taste something with no taste and experience taste in your mind...
Then too there is the philosophical approach where taste is relative to who is tasting... what is considered tasteful by one person could be considered tasteless by another.
Then you have those who have sensory conditions where they taste and instead of tasting they hear a tone or see a color... this is termed Synesthesia.
So in answer to your question... anything is possible.

But then you have the literary approach to taste in a metaphorical way...
In this instance for example, a cake as pictured above may make a distasteful political statement like... "Hey, lets celebrate bombing this other county!"
But, the cake although distasteful in the statement it's making may actually be quite tasty while eating it.

Birthday, anniversary, event, commemoration, age, whatnot.
There are so many words for whatever the person decides to celebrate with their thread, why always cakes?
Never heard the term Cake Day before joining Steam Gifts.
Why Cake Day???
Cake Days for people, Cake Days for pets, Cake Days for being on the website, Cake Days for presidencies, Cake Days for the last time you ate a cookie or used toilet paper...
I have nothing against cakes, but damn, saying they're overused would be an understatement at this point.
The first 2 were funny, the next 20 were tolerable, the following 200 just make me go ballistic.
I demand an explanation.
And a cake, why not ;)
