Hello!

I practice martial arts too, more specifically:

  • Kung Fu
  • Sambo (Cамбо)
  • Muay Thay

What style are you practicing?

Wing Chun Kung Fu.
But our Sifu also adds some of Taichi and Shaolin in the practices (mostly forms, to improve our postures and relax).

Wich style of Kung Fu do you practice Cavera?

Thats great! Congrats for your perseverance. I'm on my 30's. Always was interested in trying some martial arts but always had an excuse (lack of time, other activities, studies, etc etc)... I really wish I have started earlier in my life. That said, i'm enjoying the present like there is now tomorrow xD

I recommend Wing Chun, although there are benefits in practicing any form of martial arts.

Indeed! I'm learning Wing Chun actually, really adding a lot of possitive things to my life.

Wing Chun is a simple and extremely efficient style. In a short time you will notice the results.

What I really like about Shaolin is heavy training and the handling of weapons (sword, baton, etc.)

I took Kendo for a semester. It was fun/interesting, but sadly it didn't work out to keep taking it.

I've been on Muay Thai for 3+ years now. It really changed my life. I enjoy it a lot. I've always wanted to learn kung fu though. It seems very nice. :)

Chinese martial arts are something really special in my humble opinion, you should give it a try if possible :)

I have heard Muay Thai training is quite tough physically speaking

That's the plan! :)

Yeah, it's tough, but you get used to it and it's quite good for your physical conditioning. ^^

For myself, I have dabbled in various martial arts over the years. Kenpo, Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, Boxing, Fencing (sabre), and Wrestling. I actually Wrestled at a competitive level, but I decided not to pursue it into college.

I train mixed martial arts... I basically just take which moves I "like" from the different martial arts.

Always happy about other martial artists.

I am doing Martial Arts about 19 years now ( started with 6). I started with Karate and TKD because of my father. He was pretty good in TKD and won several tournaments in Europe. After that i moved to traditional Kung Fu because my stepfather learned Kung Fu and he trained me a lot. Then i added Boxing and Kickboxing. But found myself in more traditional martial Arts so I started with Wing Tsun, I did WT I think 4 or 6 years while i was doing Muay Thai and still practised jiu jitsu aswell in this time.
Then the WT society in Europe started to crumble and Wing Revolution was made from Victor Guiterrez. I started WR and now im still doing WR.
Today im a martial arts teacher. I am teaching about 3 years now. Well as you can see its a part of my life :)
I moving from Germany to Austria, im not sure if i open a new school ( had 300 students in germany and another person will be running my school if i am gone) i think i gonna still stay with WR but i will add BJJ :D

6 years of Judo as a kid and a few months of Pencak Silat and Taekwondo, but I did (or still do, but not much lately because of Uni) Tricking an acrobatic sport which takes a lot of elements from different Martial Arts but not for any kind of fighting just for aesthetics for 7 years now.

Stopped Pencak Silat because the trainer moved to Vietnam and China for a few years and Taekwondo because I was way above the others levels and I didn't like the club there.

I tried boxing for an hour once a few years ago, because I had to do it for my gym class in school. But still! It's more than nothing at least..!
Though I've been wanting to try out kendo for a while, just not sure if there's any proper classes for it where I live.
