This website is not worth it. Dont sell your cards on it. You'll get rid of your shitty cards, but you'll lose so much... just so much. You'll get to the point where u'll have sold your cards for only 0.013Euros(not $). The website itself doesnt buy keys. You have to wait for others to buy your GEMS you got from selling the cards, with csgo keys. Commonly the keys are 3000 gems, but you gotta sell them for +3500 gems to actually sell them within 24h (if lucky). Just dont use this scummy website.

i.e.:
3000 gems = 1 csgo key = 2.40 Euros
3000 gems = ~135 cards => 2.40 / 135 = 0.0177777777777778 Euros per card. (your profit)

You'll not be able to sell them at 3000 gems i'll assure you.
So you're gonna have to sell them for +3500....

i couldnt sell them in 3 days for +3500 gems so i sold them 4000 each.
3500 gems = ~158 cards => 2.40 / 158 = 0.0151898734177215 Euros per card (your profit)

How much i got.
4000 gems = ~180 cards => 2.40 / 180 = 0.0133333333333333 Euros per card (my recent profit)

*2.40 represents the CSGO key. Thats it's value. 2.40 Euros

My advice? Go to steamtrades.com and make a trade post saying you're selling
i.e. 130 (shitty cards) for 1 csgo key.
or
100 (more expensive cards) for 1 csgo key

=> $$$$

srsly, dont use their website. it's a rip-off. you'll only lose from it. I dont consider it good neither for buying cards for the particular games you need.

Yah, took me a matter of minutes to see that trading cards in was a waste of time (let alone keys), you lose a lot of value in the long run. Plus, I can't say I'd trust trading them away anyway. I've seen lots of complaints of people not getting points.

Looks like they got rid of the free spin, which sucks, but meh. I've gotten 14 sets of cards, and once they fix current price glitches, I'll be able to get 3 more sets. Was a fun free ride while it lasted.

Yeah I can't blame them for removing it, I got around 9 or 10 sets too without depositing anything because I'm waiting for the summer sale. Considering the amount of people using it, it must've been costing them a considerable amount. The rage on their group page is just absolutely absurd though. The entitlement from some of those people is completely sickening.

Yah, I can't believe the way people are raging either. Was probably best they removed the wheel since word about the site was spreading like crazy, and in the end there would be a lot more free points going out then cards coming in. Eventually it would collapse, and all the people actually putting cards into the site would get screwed.

Well that is lucky for you. Cards-keys trade always goes in favor to the guy with the keys as cards just doesn't have that value even if the quantity is in the 100's.

depends how u put it. some ppl aim for very high levels. they trade csgo keys for big quantities of cards then use them to lvlup

Well those usually go for bots selling sets. Random cards wise its totally different.

7 years ago

Bots are quite useless for anyone high level tho. They have to either do it themselves or use some silly service where cards are bought from market and 20% fee added on top if lazy.

Well high levels usually get their levels from the steam sales as it has unlimited levels, unless we talking about badge collectors.

You can always buy before the sale and then sell of the sale cards and get back the money. Its really profitable if you know how to use it.

I don't really care about keys, but the cards part of the site doesn't seem that unreasonable? They sell from like 30-80 averagish and a complete set costs 200-400. Sure there's a small bit of loss compared to steamcardexchange, but it's incredibly more convenient. In my experience, finding cards for a set on SCE can take ages, hunting around for a set that actually has cards in stock, then hoping it's the card you need, THEN hoping it's not the last one in stock which costs extra, which like 70% of the time it is. Whereas you can trade for an entire set here within a couple seconds, you're basically just paying a small bit extra for the convenience of saving yourself 10 minutes hunting around.

Dunno what u r talking about.
1) I bought a several keys for won gems on "Wheel of MEMES" (ofc -free spin) already.
2) I sold a lot of non marketable cards(like from DH games) and I got a good profit from it.
3) For getting 3000 gems (price of cs go key) i was spending about 1.9 euro(all cards amount), which is more profitable then buying it on market or in cs go client. Also these items dont have 7 days trade ban

dunno what u are talking about either. i just tested this whole thing these days. the nonmarketable cards can be traded to ppl who need them. again, thats how i got rid of them in the first place. had DH cards from all the games they.ve given away from 9 accounts. you do the math of how many i had. all sold for csgo keys.

vlad9727 did you read their FAQ? It is described there everything. You don´t need to buy a key for 3500 gems... I already got 4 csgo keys from trading cards in (I only put 3, 4 and 5 cents cards) and must say that it is the easiest way to get the csgo keys and save big time. You can buy a csgo key only for 3000 gems and it usually takes 1 day.

If you select 3000, then you will get to the queue sorted by creation time. If in the first queue you buy a key, you go to the end of the queue and so around.

if more than 3000, then you will get to the second queue the higher price - the higher you are in the queue. after creating an order the gems will be written off from your account.

Forgot to mention that you get a bonus gems if you complete badge when trading in cards

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I read the FAQ. Im not sure how u managed to sell them within 24h. I've been in queue for 2 keys for more than 24h. Nothing. I even put them at 3020 at first. Saw a few guys selling 3400 gems for a csgo key that were in queue for more than 1 day as well. There's a timer too, so thats how i know. (if it was accurate at least)

Cards are still worth something?

7 years ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

The website is definitely worth it.
1) Free gems will net you average 10 a day = roughly 1 free key per year
2) Gem exchange rates are close to market sell values for many cards. You need to check each card independently, but for some they are equal = profit because of instant sale. For some cards, they even sell for better than Steam value (because their price algorithm isn't perfect)
3) You're able to trade cards for keys AT ALL (it's close to impossible to find any trader ever willing to trade cards for keys). Using the community market is out of the question, as key prices there are sky high and fees from individual card sales will kill you.
4) You can get a key for 3000 gems in ~24 hours, which is reasonable market value for a key, given that you have no other use for cards. People who trade at above 3000 either don't understand the system or are extremely impatient
5) You will even occasionally get a free gem bonus for randomly selling cards completing a set that the site needed

Obviously, if you are just looking to level up your profile, there are better sites since 1:1 trades are better for card collecting. But for card-to-key conversion for pure value, this is the best you'll get.

7 years ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

To #3: problem here though are the traders themself.
I.e., i was searching for cards, had keys, and every dipshit wanted 1:1 market value, some even above, for absolute crap cards. You can get way better deals with actual trading, as long as it is reasonable.

Permalink

Well, if you can offer a fair exchange rate for random cards, I'd certainly be interested. I'd gladly pay a bit more to get rid of my regular drops at a faster rate (trading directly for keys) rather than repeatedly going through different sites to get marginal returns.

Well, a lot of people just want to get the maximum value out of their cards when they sell them anyway, since nobody chooses to receive those drops. And others just want to level up their profile a bit. I don't deal in actual trading for profit as that wouldn't be worth the time for me. (Sadly, even the time I spend selling the cards from my inventory don't make up for the few cents I get, but I do it anyway, if only for the satisfaction of getting something out of them + tidying my inventory.)

i actually did. Was very disappointed.
I've been in queue with a purchase order of 2 keys with 3000 gems for 24h. Nothing happened. Saw the same people with +3200gems there. Some may still be on the queue.
The only good thing about steamlvlup would be that u can buy some sets you need and cannot find cheaper on traders here.
But if you want to sell your cards there, it isnt the best option.
I had a few 0.07 euros cards. They'd given me 40 gems for each. I would get 0.05 euros on market for each.
If you do the math, you dont really get that much profit.
You'd earn more from selling the cards directly on a steamtrader. Thats what i've been doing for months now. Sometimes im doing offers such: 380 cards for 3 csgo keys, etc.
I wouldnt be complaining about it if i didnt do the math first.

1 key, is supposedly 3000 GEMS (steamlvlup currency).
But there are people who are offering more than 3000 gems for a key, because the keys are sold to you by other people.
They'd rather give a key for +3500 gems. Thats what i've seen so far at least.
I've waited more than 24h in the queue with 6000 gems (i wanted to buy 2 keys).

  • not all the cards are eligible for selling in exchange for gems(their currency) so i tried to sell most of the cards ive already deposited on their site. Ended up with 8000. So I bought 2 csgo keys for 4000gems(their currency) each.
    I was on 1st position on queue, and even so , it took 3-4 hours for the gems to be sold for csgo keys.

The only way the website is good (if you're too lazy to find some nice traders on steamtrades (: , then yah, it is a good option)

Refferal system, depositing other steam items like wallpaper, emote and ... , selling mass full sets in deposit section and adding shoping cart for mass purchases. And yes they removed some of useful ones like what you mentioned, too.

Those are not features. It's better for you to destroy wallpapers and emotes, and then do with gems whatever you like. You can deposit gems from destroyed wp/emotes and get more that way. Didn't look prices recently but when they introduced them, they were terrible. There are no mass purchases, recently they locked buying on 5 sets per game with I think 24h cooldown. Selling full sets is also not working correctly, it looks good on paper but it simply don't work as projected. I have a lot of sets, and more than half are not accepted regardless they don't have any full set in stock. Not to mention that their notification for favorited sets only started working again few days ago after months of not working. Generally site is way worse than it was 3 years ago. But hey, it works, like I said I use it, and yes, it's better than other card bots.
