Didn't want to necromance this so I'm making a brand-new small thread.

Bought Minerva's Den during the last sale, and I bet many of you did as well.
Have you already played it?

Finished it just a few moments ago, man I'm shocked.
Small but yet strong story, deep and touching. Or maybe it's just I'm getting old.
I kept thinking about how many stories Rapture still can tell.
How much is still possible to explore, to discover, to reveal.

It's a shame it would probably never happens.
Or maybe yes, maybe after a couple of years, who knows.
Everything seems to keep returning nowadays.

What do you think?
Keep on trucking recombinating :V

It's an AMAZING DLC! I bought it at 50 or 60% discount from before and it's worth every cents <3

Go play it guys, seriously.

Yes, it's worth every cent (at discount).
Awesome as it is, still 10usd (full price) for a DLC that has a couple of years on it's shoulders seems a little to much imo.
But it's a no-miss if you get it 50% off.

It was good, just like the base game and Bioshock 2. For me the novelty ran out about halfway through Bioshock 1 :/

Got it for free when they took gfwl off and finished it, not really too memorable for me though.

I rated it 10/10. One of the best DLC's I've ever played. Story wise it was better than the original BioShock 2 game.

When GFWL died, my Bioshock 2 collector's edition code was turned into a Steam code, and I got Minerva's Den for free. I played it and I really like it. Maybe even more than B2 itself. It was a really interesting story, especially if you listen to the audiologs and such. I was very impressed.
I never got it before, as I never played B2 that much. It is still the worst port, I've ever played, and the DLC was expensive and had to be bought through GFWL. I think the DLC got what it deserved once it moved to steam.

I got it for free when they changed the game to Steamworks but never got around playing the game or even the dlc. I still have to find the first one, didn't do it because I reached a point where diying so many times is annoying.

Bought it in this Autumn sale, yet to play it. Though, you have made me quite excited about it.

You can finish it in, I would say,
6 hours or so depending on your style.
3 areas, 6 little sisters (so 2 big ones) if I remember well.

Best DLC for Bioshock 2. Sure it's short, but you'll have a great time with it. And it has pong as a mini-game!

I bought it too. Could someone give me a "Previously on Bioshock 2..."? I have played it like a year ago, but bought the DLC, because I couldn't resist the -80%.

It's set in the same time-period as B2 (ten years after B1) but it's and independent story.
You don't need to remember anything about Lamb and Delta to enjoy it ;D
