Well, I decided to hold off till the last day of the Summer Sale to buy everything, I actually only want 2 things (Just Cause 2 coz its on sale right now for $5 & M&B Warband: Napoleonic Wars)

Basically I missed the sale on Warband's expansion so I lost $3 savings there, And now I just realised that I forgot to ask my parents for their credit card so I can buy JC2. Its 12pm now... Over ends in 3 hours, Fuck.

Not to mention that I actually was gonna get Arma II since it was so cheap but it ends in 1 hour... Ill be able to get M&B's DLC tomorrow but I lost missed out on 2 great games. FML, For real :(

I wish my parents allowed me to have a CC, Im mature enough to not buy random shit... I have like $600 in cash but cant spend it on ANYTHING coz where I live there are no stores like GameStop or anything :\

Yeah, I just realised that... Damn stupid thing to bitch about but yeah, Im really bored these days. IDK, Most games dont really appeal to me anymore, I play them 2/3 days & Then I get bored. Its kinda fucked up.

Atleast M&B has me hooked, So I wanna get that DLC no matter what... And new games might actually entertain me for a bit too.

As far as I consider it, No country in South America is a 3rd world country lol.

There are some pretty rough places (Specially in Venezuela, The capital is surrounded by a shell of favela-looking huts) but the overall countries are pretty normal. Nowhere near Africa orso.

Well yeah, it's no way as bad as Africa but we lack the money for, uh, "unnecessary" stuff.

I come from Venezuela myself & I can tell you that it could be SO much better.

Venezuela makes more money off petroleum than the Arab Emirates, But the place is a shithole. Those favela looking things surround all the big, unattended, full-of-criminals cities, ALL around.

Its just sad... Very sad :\

Well the bright side is you got more than half a grand, the dark side is ... well... you need 4 more to make a grand,lol..
i can feel your pain, its like the money may as well be coupons to the moon.. useless.. I can definately feel that part of it, diferent circumstance but same feeling..

Buy a bunch of steam cards via gamestop and then you will get email of the codes from what i can remember.
Your parents may be a bit better w/ that idea, more structered in terms of amount of money 20/50 and safer.

If not we can explore more direct action but try that first.
also is there a store that does money orders in the area? No do not trust to do business w/ anyone including me w/ such , there is a way to use wiring/money orders =credit.. doesnt involve anyone but you and the store/wiring service and ..... But try gamestop idea 1st.. maybe they wont mind if in small doses and safer..

Well, I like in a small country that doesnt have any dedicated game stores, And no big stores for gift cards/game cards either so Im kinda stuck on that :\

My parents DO lend me their credit card sometimes but I really dont wanna push hard, I really dont like bothering anyone in the house (Its complicated) & I dont like asking for that kinda thing in general .but they do lend me their credit card & I pay them back in cash always.

Not to mention that my friends are not exactly the gamer types either, So they dont need credit cards, Heck... They dont even needs phones for that matter! Theyre the "Go to school, Go home & Watch TV, Go to soccer practice, Watch TV, Sleep" types of peeps.

Its just situations like this that really bother me, I wont get JC2 anymore since itll be bumped back up nw & I Can forget about DayZ too... Ill probz get M&B's DLC tomorrow but I still lost $3 of savings because it was a Daily Deal before.

Wel if i new for sure you would buy it, i would grab it.. But then its about trading etc and finding the price match.

well nothing can be done in 2 hours in regards to whole picture/process of the credit card thing/askingetc.. But there is a solution but it doesnt work overnight, nevermind few hours . about 36 hours max, depending on your surroundings and what services they offer.

Well, I know 100% sure theyll let me use it tomorrow & I know 100% sure that id buy JC2 and the M&B Warband DLC (Really not sure about ArmaII, I think I wouldent get it if I could right now anyways), The problem is that tomorrow is not an option for 1/2 of what I want :P

And yeah, Im guessing they WILL be monitoring what I buy so I cant really do anything else than buy a game with it. I already feel bad enough asking for the card, Let alone having to lie about what for. They wouldent question my purchase coz they trust me, But I still dont wanna violate their trust.

Well explain to them how big some of the savings are, i will vouch for ya,lol. say "ask this guy, he should know hes a loser and plays games all day long, ask him".. Sometimes its not always best to keep things locked up, can turn to a form of resentment in subconcious ways.. Trust is explaining it to them like a man, your not sneeking around borrowing w/o permission, thats something which betrays trust. Talking never hurts trust, the reaction the answer on the other hand can do some damage if anger comes into play..

nobody enjoys asking, well some do but they are a certain makeup of people, its humbling and can be awkward and nobody enjoys facing rejection and some rather avaoid than take a chance of rejection.

Im sure if you were to approach them in a way which they feel not only comfortable but also understanding with regards to saving, you will be fine.. But thats can be difficult when many parents think games may be a waste of money to begin with, but i beg to differ.. I have been sround gaming in many ways and have seen many aspects to it which some overlook.. including disabled , troubled kids as well as documents which support many truths of how it can also help some become "smarter" in certain ways.. A heart surgeon as well as any microscopic/intricate surgical process, will sometimes tell students that games help hand/eye as well as twitch memory and i wouldnt have believed this until the day i heard it, someone i rent to told me and was in med school and i didnt believe it and fair enough a few people had visited her one day and one was her teacher and he told me and i thought it was a fluke and then found it it was not uncommon.. but back 2 earth.. sure sometimes the pride must be swalled in order to make room for growth and eventually you will need to ever come this feeling and when that happens it will seem like less of a big deal, just as long as you dont go overboard with the asking .. i do know a close mouth starves doesnt get fed, after tomorrow find another way. i can give you examples.

Yeah, The first time I ever borrowed the credit card (Last Christmas, For the Christmas Sale) I mentioned the savings & Whatnot, They lend me it without a problem. I did my best to not overdo it (Bought 3/4 games for <$10 & Paid them back in cash without them asking me to pay).
And I actually havent asked for it since then, Christmas. Besides for GW2, But we were in the US then & When I asked at GameStop if they accepted Digital Download Prepurchases & They said no my parents offered to do it online.

Anyways, Tomorrow Ill ask for it & Get M&B's DLC but I feel really bummed out about these opportunities that just fly away, And could be avoided by simply having my own stuff. I have the money, I really want it, I just dont have the means to do it & Its really annoying sometimes. Specially because its MY FAULT for forgetting too...

Buy those Visa type gift cards if they have them where you live. I used those before I got my debit card.

We dont have big shops like Wallmart orso that offer some kinds of gift cards. I live in an island with a population of 150K people.

The biggest shops here are supermarkets, Only food. The normal shops we have here are the "stereotype minorities shops" you see in movies orso, IDK how to describe them :P

I heard they were making a standalone game out of it some time. And also there is some company releasing a "copy" of DayZ called The War Z :P

I wasnt really interested in Day Z anyways, It is more of like a "Its cheap, Ill get it" thing, Same with Just Cause 2.
The only thing I really want is the DLC for M&B :D

If you were my son i would hope you had learned how to be responsible and it seems your dad did a good job, still got more than 90 percent of this forum,lol.. (relax people it was a joke, i know all about the mansions, planes and bling,)

I know some guy (Son of a millionare guy so the dad doesnt care) that buys anything all the time, It just sickens me.
He gets a MacBook Pro today & Sells it in a week, Then buys a $4000 PC & Sells it for $800 in a week. Buys 5 paintball guns & Only uses them once.

Gawd IDK why people do that kind of stuff, I guess its coz its not their own money but dont they have ATLEAST some decency? I always pay my parents cash for whatever I buy when I borrow their credit card but I still try to buy the cheapest, Smallest things possible (Never bought anything over $15 besides GW2, And I REALLLLLYYYY thought that through)
I mean, Theres alot more games Id like to buy for sure (Like Eufloria), But I dont buy much stuff/expensive stuff even though Im totally capable of ($600 budget lol)

Id even giveaway stuff here if I had my own credit card (Which I actually will have soon since Im leaving for University next year) but I feel like its already too much buying the little things that I buy. I dont like bothering people...

I did buy alot of games in the Christmas sale & I loved it, I never buy stuff over $15 though...

Both coz I dont wanna overextend my parents' trust. (They just recently started LETTING me buy stuff online, So I dont wanna buy much/expensive stuff even though I have the money) & Because honestly, If the game is cheap its worth it, But pirating it is better than getting it for $60. I dont mind paying for a game thats cheap, But Im totally not gonna pay $60 for a Single Player only game. (Yes I own Skyrim, No I didnt buy it)

I actually bought GW2, Most expensive thing Ive bought, And in the first beta I already regretted it... Im dumb. But Ill play it once it releases, Gotta make my money worth atleast. it wasnt SO bad anyways.

Just Cause 2 is discounted very often. It was at $3.74 at GamersGate several times over the past month, as well as part of an Amazon pack for $7.50 which contained it plus 4 more games. (And it's Steam redeemable not matter where you buy it.) So I think you don't have to worry much, there's a chance it will be discounted again soon.

seems as if you are just trying to get peeps to feel sorry and buy you a game, in a non obvious way.... from your profile picture, you look plenty old enough to not need permission getting a credit card. i guess you are one of those people who wait until the last night to write a 10 page paper when you had a month to do it lol

Next time you get the chance, pick one of the options to add funds to your account's wallet, hand your parents the cash, and ask them to finish the sale for you.
