Do you have the Steam app for your mobile conntected to the accounts?
I don't know if you missed it, but if you don't have the Steam app now the items gets stuck in "escrow" for 3 days.
And if you did cancel the trade from one of the accounts you will be tradebanned for 7 days so that is my wild guess what could've gone wrong here.

That's a server error and will eventually get fixed. It happened relatively frequently at the Halloween sale too.
Although if the servers are fucked now, hours before the sale starts, that doesn't really bode well for the start of the sale itself…

Heyo,
I'm having troubles with a card trade I sent from my main account to my alternate account. The trade is still pending but no matter what I try to do with it I get an error message. When I open the trade window the items dont even load properly, I just get these spinning loading circles.
Trying to cancel, modify or accept the trade with either account gives me these errors:
Cancelling: There was an error modifying this trade offer. Please try again later.
Modyfing: There was an error sending your trade offer. Please try again later. (26)
Accepting: There was an error accepting this trade offer. Please try again later. (28)
Anyone know of a way to kill that trade?
