Hey guys!

I would like to know what are the main reasons you need to get hooked by a webcomics and go back week after week to see if a new episode came out or not. Robot reincarnated dinosaurs dating japanese shoolgirls? Sharks with headlasers headbanging at a Miley Cyrus concert?

Also is it the story/aspect/gimmick what is important for you or the graphichal look?

I'm asking all of these because like half a year ago i started to fool around in Inkscape and made a comic. And i got some inspiration to make another one. Then another one. You can check these out here, if you want to. These are completely random stuffs, mostly out of mind and crazy things going on there so be careful! :D

But i now want to guide these characters and this total randomness into a more story oriented way in Season 2. I want to keep the mindblowing and maybe sometimes painfully wtf aspect but i also would like to make some coherency between the episodes, some hidden easter eggs and parodies to keep the mood in place. Could you be interested something like this? If not, what should be improved to be interested in it?

Thanks for the answers,

Samuel

I only ever followed 1 comic. I found it funny and it involved dragons. Unfortunately, it died when the creator moved on to other things.

The site is down now, so i can't link it. But the name of the comic was Dragon-Tails.

I follow/followed a few different web comics. What matters to me depends on the web comic really. I've followed serious ones, funny ones, ones that make almost no sense and ones that really make you think. The art doesn't always have to be good but it does help when its a more serious one.

Thanks for the feeback!

As for now i'm planning to keep the randomness and inject in some classical RPG game parodies and illogical mechanics like thousands of other comics did in the past, but i'm willing to do it in my way, in a different way. I also want to use weird and surreal superpowers like "Sugar Magic" to keep the series interesting and funny :D And my plan is to work out awesome synergies between these almost useless powers to make epic moments, but that'll figure out when i get to that point.
