270 entries (75 alone for The Ship) and won a copy of Faerie Solitaire during the 25,000 giveaway from the makers. Never give up because someone's gotta win - it could be you!

Statistics of public giveaways seem to suggest you can sort of expect to win roughly 2 giveaways out of 1000 randomly entered public giveaways.. But it still could happen any time, in your first day or after months.. And is not at all guaranteed to happen at all, for that matter, that's the random part you know.

And of course private and group giveaways, and not random entering to public giveaways, changes the mentioned picture.

got a game on my 2nd entry (and a cheap one!)... No lucky since, lol.

Its taken me 700+ entries and I have not won once. Hopefully I will win by 1000, but its all luck.

I won one game around the 100th giveaway I entered and never got it -.-

All about luck. The first giveaway I entered was a win.

You win by waiting and not worrying about winning. Enjoy the community and don't count the days until you finally win. Also you won 2 out of about 200 entries, that is much better luck than most people so I wouldn't be complaining or worrying about not wining.

It's pretty random. You could very well win the next giveaway you enter! As well as not win for another month, year, etc. It's not really something you can predict. Advice for winning more: attempt puzzles on forums to enter less popular private giveaways (fewer entries), and hang out in the S.Gifts chat! :D

Being active in any SteamGifts-related groups' chats might get you into private groups which increase your chances of winning by tenfold or more sometimes, so maybe try that if you want. I've won 2 or 3 games from private groups, so it's nice. ^_^

However, winning in a public giveaway is purely by extreme luck, and really it just takes time! I think I won my first game (which happened to be very nice and from a friend I never talk to actually who made a public giveaway on here! :D) at 351 entries and 3 months into the site....however that was 7 and a half months ago so now it could take you upwards of 500+ entries to get a win. From there though, I guess I just got luckier because I seemed to magically win more from then on. In my first few months though, it was REALLY aggravating seeing other people who had 5+ wins and only maybe 500 entries total while I had 350 and no wins. So don't feel bad, most of us were there once......unless they happened to be that lucky guy who won his first giveaway he entered haha.

i told a friend he should register to Steamgifts. He registerd and enterd 2x dota2 with his 25start points and won one of them -.-

Wen you enter a giveaway, it chooses a random person , You can enter a giveaway of 2 entries and probably lose or win, it's random, so...this site is pretty much impossible to win anything

its luck... Doesnt take a certain time, just enter the games you want and hope for the best
