Since a couple of hours I'm having big issues with Steam and mainly the community within Steam. Every community page I load takes either for ages or I get error code -118 (unable to connect to server). As times I also get the same error from the store.

Anyone else having similar issues?

That's exactly why I'm asking. Though I have ditched all globes by now, I do want to trade some cards...

That's probably the (or one of the) reason why the community is lagging. Wanted to buy a TF2 keys on the market, I can't actually. Too many people are using the market.

It's the last day of the sale and Snow Globe cards will expire soon. I bet an enormous amount of people are trying to sell or buy cards now. No wonder the servers can't cope with this.

The funny part is that the price increased a little, a few hours left, over 70k cards of each on the market and yet the price is higher than the past 2-3 days.

Not like this. I've not been able to access the community in hours. Error code 118 across the board and I'm not alone. Yes, the community has little nags here and there somewhat regularly, but I've never had an issue last this long and its widespread. Im on the east coast of the US and people in Europe and Asia are reporting the same thing.

probably a steam conspiracy to jack up the prices of cards and cause a mad rush of selling and buying. hey they do get a cut out of all the sales however small.

Steam community is completely inaccessible for me too, but this page says it's just me. Great.

Seems like it's because of this
