I have a question about winning

If you win a giveaway, it doesn't decrease your change on winning the next one, is that true?
Because sometimes I think it's not true and don't enter the one that I rather not take over the other one.
As I understood from this guide, winning doesn't decrease your chance of winning again. So, is that right?

Yes it's right. Nothing can decrease or increase your chances of winning.

Winning doesn't increase your chance, its must a matter of luck.
