Dev said that they're in their last steps of development, so I don't think there could be more delays (I have faith in them ><).

How long do you think it will be between the open beta/Early access and the full release?
I'm very interested in that one as well.
EDIT: Since Wasteland 2 was also released as EA I checked. It sounds like we'll still have to wait a while.

I'm not really into walking simulator games, but this one has a great looking art style and the story sounds very promising.

These indie titles really brought creativity back to the video games.
I haven't heard of Firewatch but it looks cool.
Also for 2016 games, I'm probably most excited for Legion and a new saints row game if they release one.

So, is this some survival game, some sandbox game, some open world thriller…? The trailer didn't really reveal anything substantial besides that the guy has a walkie-talkie glued to his hand.

Well I dunno about you, but after watching the first trailer I have seen more than I wanted. I have seen the art style, I met the main characters, I saw a really cute turtle and the best plot twist in my life :D I still havent watched any other video about the game so I dont spoil anything :3

Well, okay, but shouldn't you want to be interested in such things as what genre even it is? I mean from that video it can be anything from spending 80 hours of running around doing nothing to a 3-hour completely linear adventure game.

Yeah, I read it, this is why I am confused. All screenshots try to point to some open world, survival/sandbox like game, and the description is for a linear plot-oriented one. I guess this is a case where really only the release will tell what the heck is this. :)
And if the latter… then yeah, I may be interested in it too.

hells to the yeah! looks fun imo, the story looks really intriguing and the dialogue between your character and the chick is like the most natural, fun, engaging dialogue I've ever seen in a video game

As soon as I first saw the trailer a few months ago, I instantly knew it is going to be one of my favorite games. It doesn't have multiplayer and probably doesn't have much replay value, but it is one of the most original titles I have seen in some time :D PLUS, YOU CAN HOLD A CUTE TURTLE IN YOUR HANDS! (I really hope that wasn't just for the trailer)
