I prefer football manager games, like the football manager series by SEGA.

I had great fun with FIFA 95 on my friend's 3DO, and really enjoyed '98 & '99 on the PC, but the last FIFA I touched was 2002 Road to the World Cup. It was OK. Actua Soccer was also a blast with friends. The only Soccer: Charles Darwin Edition I've played was the 2002 release against my cousin on his PS2.

I get addicted to Career Mode on FIFA, despite not finding the games themselves all that fun. It's more fun just having a few games now and then rather than playing every day.
