Solution

This was a fairly simple puzzle with straightforward instructions. An Ikea booklet, if you will. Let's get down to it!

Step 1 "Start from the very source." Fairly obvious, just meander on over to the page source and find the hidden link. Link The correct answer was "HI"

Step 2 Another easy step; the clue was in my poorly made link of http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/www.runescape.com. In case it wasn't clear, I added the same link to the thread. The correct answer was "gp"

Step 3 You were supplied with two hints, then told to go back to this SteamGifts page. This is where the final part comes in. The two hints provided both share the letter G, in caps.

Step 4 Finally, "Put all of the above together in the order you found them, then attach it. Tada!" As per instruction, putting everything together gave a combination of "HIgpG" If you paid attention to the Ravaged giveaway, the protagonist had an epiphany at the end and managed to say "The code is www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/-" Attaching the combination to this gave a complete url to the secret prize of Cave Story+!

Clarifications

"Dram Es Corda" was an anagram of "Draco Dreams", a teaser of the rest of the puzzle.

The Ravaged Giveaway contained three hints: The dragon's egg, "two similar letters", and the giveaway url. It also contained a reference to 2Dawn, the makers of Ravaged.
