And even if it were on steam you would still need a uplay account...which is then different to your normal uplay account (to make it clear: steamgames that require uplay can only be played/launched via steam + uplay but not with a normal uplay account without starting steam first....yay to ubisoft..or something like that) x.X

Gothic isn't very well supported on Steam. You have to update manually to the latest released patches, for example. Don't miss this sale, or take them from GOG instead.
