And it's still better than any of the other games listed, and with better reviews.

As long as it's a good game, I don't mind Early Access at all.

The Long Dark is great and it's been in EA since Sept 2014.
Ark: Survival Evolved (#8 on steam sales right now) since last June, and even after being bundled once.
DayZ ............. lol. :X

Honestly, there is nothing wrong with DayZ. So they've had some setbacks. it's common in game development & It's not uncommon for a game to be in development for so long.

I wasn't commenting about the quality of the game, rather how popular it is and how long it's been in EA. I was just saying that a lot of really popular games have been and are still in EA.

If you want to play the original free version of Distance it's called Nitronic Rush. I have never played it, but I saw a video of it a while ago.

Just tried this. The game kinda feels like trackmania on LSD. I like it

I never played it, but it looked interesting. It's like a arcade style, Tron inspired racing game with fun music. Reminds me of the 80's (and that's a good thing).

Edit: It makes me think of the game OutDrive. I haven't played that yet either, but Nitronic Rush is probably a lot better.

Edit 2: I need to get some TrackMania games. I watched some videos of a couple of them recently and they look like a lot of fun.

Thanks, I didn't know they had a free game. I'll have to check it out one of these days. I need to complete the game I'm playing now first though. I spend too much time on here and don't leave enough time to actually play my games. I'm working on putting together a giveaway train now.

Competitive multiplayer games are addicting. I have over 2700 hours in Counter Strike Source. I broke that addiction about a year ago and have been trying to play through my huge backlog of games. I loaded the game up again a couple weeks ago, but managed to not get sucked back in. I've been playing on and off for 10 years and I always break away and stop playing, but eventually get sucked back in again (usually around 6 months). I think I may have broken the addiction for good this time. I broke my addiction to that game to free up time to play other games, but the problem is that I became addicted here and now I'm in the same situation.

Yeah i know. The same thing is already happening with me and the New DooM. Maybe the best thing for you is dual monitors. SG on one gaming on the other. Its what i used to do with hockey.

Yeah, I find myself pausing or exiting the game I'm playing every so often to come back here and see whats happening, lol. Duel monitors would definitely help.

Would be nice, but I don't have room for a second monitor right now. I'm currently in a small apartment with a tiny computer desk not much bigger than my monitor. I'm looking for a house now. I'll definitely get a bigger desk when I move and maybe another monitor.

Ah im kinda in the same boat. I would like two widescreens but i can't because desk space. Will look for a place once I've saved up enough money to move out.

I do like my racing games. At least the arcade ones. Shame Outrun 2006 was removed from Steam, only have a disc copy and no one to play with.

I vote for trackmania, but definitely not the Turbo. Really, think about it, you can try "trackmania nations forever" for free, and if you like it, you should buy trackmania canyon or nation forever, but not Turbo, trust me. And instead of 40€, it cost 7€....
