I played Tomb Raider (2013) and the game was great, although I always felt like something was missing: co-op. It's a game that calls for co-op.

Then I saw there are 2 sequels: Rise of the Tomb Raider & Shadow of the Tomb Raider (don't know which one is the 2nd or the 3rd), but I didn't see a co-op option listed on the Steam page. So I looked online and turns out it has co-op, but the details are confusing.

Is it co-op on PC too? or only consoles?
Does it work split-screen co-op or you need 2 separate PCs?
Is the campaign co-op or only some missions?

The only Tomb Raider game to ever have multiplayer was the 2013 release and it was Team PvP only.

I'm not sure how a game about a lone character surviving the wilderness would work as a co-op game (and even if it did, there would need to be a complete redesign of the entire game as none of the puzzles would work).

Technically (totally different genre), Temple of Osiris is co-op.

I think Rise of the Tomb Raider has coop option for one of the DLCs. Endurance Mode if I remember right.

Thematically speaking the Tomb Raider series is probably the farthest thing from a game "calling for co-op".
But of you really want that, they actually made two spin-offs built from the ground up to be co-op friendly, just look at the "Lara Croft" side series.

Hey there, Rise of the Tomb Raider is 2nd Game and Shadow of the Tomb Raider the 3th one. ^^

About the other thing, i cant say much. I only have the 1st Game and has Multiplayer, but more against each other. Battling Mode, Rescuing stuff. ^^

Best Regards
