Is there any?

From all the movies, only Titanic made me shed a tear or two, but that was years ago.

As for the video games, I almost cried at the end of TWD Season 1, and I literally cried for 5 minutes on Season 2 ending (I choosed to stay at Wellington). Now isnt that wierd? I mean, in Season 1, Lee died and in Season 2, I only got separated from Kenny (Altho I could have gone with him, but that baby would not make it for a long). I guess it was him, that speech of his, how much he begged that woman to let Clem and the baby stay, even without him. And few minutes ago, I had a choice to kill him?! I could not belive that that many players actually did that! I dont know, tell me your toughts.

The movies would be many i guess. The only i can recall instantly is "The great dictator" of Charlie Chaplin and more specifically the part with his speech. The link is here.

Now that i think of it again, there are also the following amazing movies:

  • Saving Private Ryan
  • The Green Mile
  • The Pursuit of Happyness
  • Blood Diamond
  • Hachiko (due to the recent at that time death of my dog)

As for the games, "Mass Effect 3" would be the only one.

Yea I forgot about ME3, even though none of the endings make any sense, the fact that Shepard is gone and then a glorious speech plays and you see the galaxy being rebuilt... Man, the feels

Movies have never got me, not enough time to get familiar with the characters enough to cry.

For games, Okami was really touching at the end. Also Dark souls after first playthrough, simply because it was such an amazing experience and I recalled my whole journey while the credits music played on.

Only one video game ever made me cry: Unreal 2 The Awakening. When Dalton played back Aida's message in which she, Isaak and Ne'Ban said their goodbyes, I was like..."FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK". Saddest ending EVER. As for movies...ashamed to admit it, given that it's a chick flick and all, but A Walk to Remember made me shed a few tears. God, it's so fucking depressing. Other movies that made me cry are: 12 Years a Slave, Rush, Gran Torino, Edward Scissorhands, The Last Samurai and Gladiator.

17 Moments of spring (old Soviet tv series), 3 Musketeers (MOVIE, NOT CANDY BAR) (Soviet version). Killer force (old Russian cop series). All when I watched them in US, after being stuck here for 4 years. That and when I found some Russian friends here.

I wouldn't say I cried, but these movies have made me shed a tear: The Road and Pursuit of Happiness (still makes my eyes water when I think about it). And only one video game (as far as I remember): Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core (that ending...).

Ok so... From movies... Stalker, because the ending was emotionally powerful. Games... Planescape: Torment. That game was sad as fuck... I replay it from time to time. Doesn't work the same magic, but I still feel bad at some points. Masochistic tendencies...

No movie/game ever really made me cry... I guess I'm just a heartless bastard.

And OP, you should add a spoiler warning; It's a rule, and there's a reason for that.

I don't think games and movies can make me cry, but To the Moon almost got me.
For movies, the brilliant ending of Memento made my eye wet, but I didn't cry. I don't think I cried when I watched Grave of the Fireflies (aka Hotaru no Haka), but that movie is sad.
