1151 has the newest generation, so it's more future proof, also DDR4 support, there is also socket 2011-3

1150 haswell- cheaper and ddr-3 is good unless you want more than 32gb ram.
1151 skylake- slightly better overclocking- but more complicated, usb type C, slightly more instructions per clock

If you have a quadcore already, nothing.
Otherwise, LGA 1151.

If you can afford a LGA1151 it's better it will last longer, but if you already have DDR3 RAM or a LGA1150 processor stay with it, it isn't a huge difference... for now.

MSI B150A GAMING PRO with i5-6600K = wrong choice. Buy i5-6600 and with i5-6600 you won't need CPU cooler (hyper 212 evo).
Also 120GB SSD may not be enough, consider buying 250GB (Samsung 850 Evo is very nice btw)
That MoBo does not support RAID, keep that in mind. If you think you may need to check H170A GAMING PRO.
MSI GTX 970 100 ME edition has backplate installed, you may check that too.
