I just gave away 2 copies of AirBuccaneers and 1 copy of Rune Classic and even after being 'confirmed received' my contribution value still hasn't gone up from them. I just did A Valley Without Wind yesterday and it worked fine.

Do you even read FAQ?. And that question mark near value on your profile is not just a decoration.

I didn't say it only went up 20% of the cost of the game, I said it didn't go up at all.

Read it again. You receive 20% of non-bundled value after you reach 30$. It is not like 5 bundle games gives you 1 full CV. If you give away bundles only, you wont receive shit. You get full bundle value when you give away 5 times more of non-bundled(the ones without *) games.

Don't get too upset, kiwimango. Raziel is just upset because people don't read the FAQ where the answer to your question (and many others) is already answered. After hearing the same question repeated hundreds of times, Raziel is a bit annoyed.

Can you look at your own link and show me where it says that?

Your CV cannot be raised over $30.00 with Bundled or Exploited games.
Not sure about Rune Classic, but I think the others have been in bundles.

Bundled stuff doesn't give any more CV above $30.

screw that :D how can you have $41.99 CV with giving away only bundle games?

So to solve your next mystery, your CV will drop from $41.99 to $30 once that game is properly flagged as a bundle game.

In order to have it increase to anything over $30 you need to give away a non-bundled game. At that time you will get the full value of that game plus 20% of that games value (assuming the total value of all bundled games minus $25 is at least equal to 20% of the value of that non-bundled game).

Negative, Ghost Rider. Once the game has been marked received, the CV will only go down when the price of the game on Steam goes down. If it was gifted pre-bundle, it will never lose it's "non-bundled" status.

Any gifting of the game after it has been bundled, however, will be counted toward the bundled-gift total.

Wrong. He gifted it after it was included in a bundle, and the value will be retroactively changed because of that, to the first day it was in the bundle.

That possibility was covered in what I wrote, but I will accept the correction.

This is not complete true actually. If you give away a game and its marked received at the same day the game comes out in a bundle (lets say 4 hours later after marked received) you still get a bundled status of that game retroactively.

Nope. Only the submission date matters. If the giveaway was started on the same day it was included in a bundle, then bad. The day before, the value is safe.

As the OP just got dropped to $30, you can see that Delta's explanation was accurate.

I forget, how much did you pay for those, again? :) My suggestion is don't worry about CV and your life will be easier. :)

Some poor fool gave away a Dark Souls II but only one person solved the puzzle, so he got none of the precious CV for it. :)

Yeah, same thing happened to me with Bioshock. I wish I had known that before I made the giveaway. It was not stated clearly anywhere that I saw at the time.

Give away AAA games and see your CV go to the sky.

To be fair the bundle list could do with an A-Z list of what are considered bundled games rather than one we got right now where it is by bundle.
