In my opinion its okay.as long as it is no spam im fine with it.

because, as has been mentioned in comments in the other threads, looking at old statistics is statistics from a while ago, when there were less people on steam gifts, so there was more chance of winning

if you do entries divided by wins, then its a win rate ;)
though if you really want to, then you can post your loss rate :P

This, man. Even though i have yet to win a single giveaway, simply by paying attention to the forums and communicating with the people I've found here, I've been privy to some of the best deals, been informed of some the the coolest goings on in the gaming community, as well as have managed to get my hands on a few keys in the forums themselves, regardless of "winning" anything.

So far I've received, King Arthur, RocHard, Hacker Evolution: Duality, Fairie Solitare, OIO, a free mouse pad (lol), a lifetime 15% discount on any game i buy from GamersGate, and beta access to DOTA2, Diablo 3, and even learned of some bonuses on Tribes: Ascend.

Its a decently good community even if you don't win anything. Just ignore the kids, spammers, and beggars. Whats left over is people who love games, just like you.
