Oh this game, i miss it so much :(
i've searched for a game like this but never found. Anyone knows about a possible sequel?

I played the demo a long time ago and really enjoyed it. I never got around to buying the full game but now I want it. Unfortunately, listings on eBay and Amazon are usually outrageously priced for a 9 year old game. And it doesn't sound likely to be released on Steam anytime soon :(

Had lot's of fun with all the swat games actually even the first one. I'm kinda looking forward to the new Rainbox Six because it seems to be kinda swat like.

no i do not know about a sequel and i doubt there ever will be one as it has been how long since Swat 4 was out

the only thing i can think off top my head that would be like it is Rainbow Six Vegas 1+2 awesome co-op

there was suppose to be a Swat 5 and was suppose to be made by Irrational but that is highly unlikely it is a shame as it was in production when it was axed in 2006

Take Down was suppose to be like it but it was a terrible game i think they rushed it and why i do not know not like it had steep competition lol

anyhow Rainbow Six is i think at this point your best bet for anything close to it

I still have it on disk. I used to play coop regularly with a group of people once a week, but we haven't done that in a while. Even though I have my disk version, I wish GOG would get it. I have SWAT 3 on disk and re-bought it from GOG. I still think SWAT 3 was better. It had better AI and realistic bullet penetration. I wish they would make a true sequel, but seeing what happened to Raindbow Six, I doubt that will happen.

I aways wanted to buy a orignial copy, it is never avaiable in my country, but i would pay $50 if it comes to Steam. Is rainbow six that bad?

Well iirc Activision bought it awhile back and hasn't done anything with it. I don't think we're going to see a sequel.
However Rainbow Six:Siege seems more of a spiritual successor to SWAT than a Rainbow Six game.

I love that game. Me and my friend played all the time. We tried to not harm anyone but that never worked. Was always me tho, guy tweaking out on drugs and I'd bean bag him in the head. Yeah.. bad idea. The other time, I shot a dude in the nuts with a taser. Good times.

My suggestion is : Rainbow Six Vegas 2

It`s really fun in 1-4 player co-op mode !.

I`d like S.W.A.T 4 . It just have an expansion pack but it didnt get sequel :(

Sorry for English !

Loved the series. The older, top down versions were good too. Door Kickers on Steam is reminding me of the older ones and am considering picking it up while it's 50% off.

SWAT 4 was great. I played alone, but it was great fun. I've told my friends that SWAT 4 was kind of like the opposite of PAYDAY 2, only more precision strategy oriented than action oriented. Still, I think the current co-op landscape is ripe for a game like SWAT 4.

P.S. Very soon after Greenlight launched someone put it on there. Of course, it was some random nobody instead of the rights-holders and it got removed.

payday the heist is like swat4 but you're the terrorist :{

to me payday is closer to COD than it is to SWAT 4 :P. The game is based on shooting and be shot and fuck it. On SWAT you got to be careful with every decisions or you might get killed, lose a team member or lose a hostage.
