I'm still having trouble with Question 6. I tried it without the apostrophe, without commas, without periods, I've tried every combination I can think of and can't get it to work.

If you're going to use a compound noun in Q1, then there will be hyphens.

damn it still stuck at the dryad and the daughter i tried countless things i think i know the answer to both but it's not working ...
i read a whole lot of material on both subject and tried everything relevant to the questions but still no luck :( .

Edit: Finnaly solved the one with the daughter... the dryad one left :(

Wow, I tried so many combinations like "high tide", "rising sea", "changing tide", etc. I loved the puzzle in general, but that really shows the weakness of this puzzle format when it comes to more variable answers.

For instance, I'm surprised "spider silk" only had one variant while "spider web" had several of them, even though I myself used spider silk straight away so had no problem with that question. (Not to mention, that it's not actually true. It's only stronger per weight.)

As for the iceberg, I also tried Hel, Niflhel, Niflheim, Niflheimr, Nifl. I only tried Helheim when I happened to read that heim meant something like home and I decided to combine that with Hel.

Again, I loved the puzzle in general, so I'm not criticizing you. Just venting my frustration that there's no easy way for you to cover all valid answers. :)
