Get some good German Nürnberger Bratwürste/sausages/hot-dogs (or another kind of hearty sausage), some Sauerkraut and creamy mashed potatoes. Put some apple or pineapple in the Sauerkraut if you like it a bit sweeter (pineapple is my favorite). Grill or fry the sausages until nicely browned, make some gravy if you like, and enjoy a delicious, simple and very German meal.

Tonight I'm making simple Baked Mostaccioli with some garlic French bread on the side. :) Yum.

Since I'm on a diet for quite some time I mostly roll with +/- 120g rice/pearl barley/buckwheat, +/- 100g meat and half a plate of veggies. Nothing beats that. Even though I try some fancy recipes from time to time I always go back to this. So many ways to prepare the meat, so many ways to prepare the veggies, so many ways to prepare the rice and stuff. You don't need anything else.
