I see it's a wild hunt for annoying scripts / bots users. I hate them. They mostly don't make any giveaways, don't read any giveaway descriptions. They just want games. They don't care about something like community.
I hope someone gonna make a script which automatically ban everyone who uses these things.

Good one, this one! I haven't made a booby-trapped GA myself but I blacklisted one person who used literally everywhere the same looong 1-liner with some peachy day or sth like that. It was clearly a concealed "thanks" message. Whitelisted for creativity :)

Pleased to see people taking similar experimental action in an effort to quench or at the very least de-escalate the irritating phenomenon of botters/scripters/regifters/circle-CV-boosters. I'm also entering the giveaway (for which I thank you) & whitelisting you - above all though I'll be following this, I'm very curious about the results, since I used different criteria in some experiments of mine (and I have to admit, I ran into a couple of false positives and into a very unpleasant surprise in form of a - now former - friend I had on Steam who turned out to be a CV-booster, booter and regifter).

That's unfortunate. I hope I won't have many such disappointments with friends and other members I appreciate. So far the results are mostly good, the comments to this giveaway actually added more members (such as you) to my whitelist than to my blacklist.

As a non-native English speaker I was wondering why it is called booby trap because a trap with boobs doesn't make any sense. So I headed over to Wikipedia: Bobo is Spanish for "idiot, stupid, fool" and the slang version is bubie. Fast forward some years and bubie became booby in English. So it's a trap for idiots.

I think it's very much manageable at this stage. It's the whitelist that may hit the limit first. Too many good people on this site, far outweighing the bots and scripts :-)
