Thanks for Fortix 2!

Concerning the Xin1 question - well 2 (or more) for one? Great! Especially for them steam game collectors :D
I always wondered if Time Gentlemen Please! and Ben There Dan That! Special Edition Double Pack actually was 2 "separate" games or just like an expansion - guess that is now answered as you linked it as an example of an 2in1.

I would formulate an opinion of Xin1 if I had any idea what 2in1 or 999in1 were. As of now, my opinion is as empty as a vacuum.

Same here :/

Ok after seeing the 2in1 i assume Xin1 is some kind of pack of games?

Hey i'm actually 28! i had some cartridges packs like this when i was a child on my Master System and my Genesis but here on Spain they were called after "family packs".

I actually had these 1 (only the 1 in the top 2 and some Master System 64in1 i just can't find now :(

Many hours of fun!

Hm, I'm 26 and grew up with a MegaDrive and have seen bundled games before, but I though Xin1 was some kind of name, not that X referred to a number (and that 2in1 was some kind of product?)
Bundled games are good though. I own the MegaDrive collection on the XBox and there's some great ones in it.

Haha nice!
I had some of these but I was lucky enough to get my hands on a game boy cartridge with 99+ games! You pressed a but on the crtridge and it was reset, starting a new, random, game!
I loved these!
You more than 1 + they take less space :P

Heh. This just reminded me that I also had one of those gameboy cartridges with 99in1 games. That was great!

Funny fact, those 999 were actually <50 games repeated several times with weird and subtle modifications between each other..

I like them if they poop extras like ss complete or flatout complete :)

It does have its pro and its cons. It depends, but generally anything bundled up is cheaper.

Argh. I hate when it comes down to '8 great movies on a single DVD'. Somehow great movies become crappy flicks.

just like bundle games, sometime you will find great games in that.

I remember little handhelds with tetris and snake that were claiming to be like 1000 in 1 because they counted every slight parameter change like level setup or speed to be a new game or something? So it was like 1000 game modes but marketing was suggestive of 1000 games in one. Tsk, tsk. So it can be just a dissapointing marketing ploy

Then there are things like electric toothbrush and vibrator combo. What's not to love.

I also had a 1000 in 1 Tetris and variations clone.
So many played hours...

I wouldn't have played a lot of games I enjoyed if they wouldn't have been in bundles. So it's a huge plus from me!

Well, it's not always a good idea... if we are talking of Schwarzenegger kicking my ass: its better just 1 than Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris and Stallone 3in1

This Fortix obsession confuses me but I'll join it anyway ;-) Thanks!

Some X in 1 packs are nice, but I really hat if if they put in, like, 10 games and then repeat them just palette swapped or so and call it 99 in one. Like I have as a gameboy cartridge...

My opinion is, that 2 in 1 is better than only one!

FORTIX!

Also, x in 1 where x is greater than 1 seems like a good thing, as long as the price is the same. I like the franchise bundling, it makes it cheaper to pick up later.

2 in 1 is good only if it doesn't mean that the quality has been sacrificed
