Istanbul Haydarpasa Terminal (Turkey)
Until the year 2013, this was Eastern Europe's busiest station, a magnificent structure occupying an atmospheric waterside location. It opened in 1872, designed by two German architects, Otto Ritter and Helmut Conu. Like Amsterdam Central, it also has wooden pilings for foundations, 1100 in total, each 21 metres long. continue your journey

Gare du Nord I think, for passenger numbers. Zurich or Clapham Junction for train numbers.

Not sure. If we speak of eastern Europe, it must have been overcomes by another station. Afaik most investing countries in eastern Europe are turkey and Russia.
