Edit: Ubisoft Forums - Ubisoft Chimes In On Steam Pull Early this morning an Ubisoft staffer chimed in on the missing AC Unity title from Steam. The statement is essentially that they have no idea what is going on and are working to fix it. At present in the thread this is the last entry (08:00 -6:00 GMT November 7th, 2014). I am keeping a close eye on the issue at present as it may be prudent to cancel the giveaway. If the situation were to end up requiring purchasers to obtain refunds my guess would be that this could prove difficult if you are not the original purchaser of the product. I would hate to do that, but it does no one any good to win something only to have it not work and the original purchaser gets the refund. So that you are aware, if the giveaway still exists 24 hours from now that signals that I am satisfied the gift will work and the refund process will be a non-issue.
It will be of great help if others will provide any official insight they encounter during that time. I also completely understand if people wish to pull their entries to place their odds elsewhere.

Lastly, you may need to have an Uplay account to view the aforementioned thread, and be advised the thread itself is regarding "The Crew." That being said, it would seem likely the circumstances are the same for all of the new Ubisoft titles.

UPDATE 13:30 (-6:00 GMT): AC Unity is BACK on my Steam spinner, and is once again searchable here in 'murica. Looks like the contest will be good to go at this point (at least state side). UK participants may still want to consider the potential that this title may not in fact work for them.
