Hey, Irdra, I hope you're doing well! :)

I went digging through my message history to reply back to you regarding Hashimoto's and hypothyroidism, but it turns out that the last message was from your cakeday thread from 6 months ago, which is now closed. :3 Anyway, my little sis was also diagnosed with Hashimoto's years ago, and had been completely dissatisfied with her doctor who had a, "Let's just see if this get worse and we'll treat it then", kind of attitude. Meanwhile, she'd been struggling with constant fatigue and couldn't even maintain her weight and kept gradually gaining, no matter what she ate or how much she exercised. I just wanted to give you a heads-up because a friend of the family (who has hypothyroidism) had recommended this book to her last month, and she's been amazed by it. She said it was the first source she's read that mentioned all of her symptoms, and after following the recommendations of which foods to avoid, she's feeling healthier and even dropped 5 pounds for the first time in nearly a decade. Since it's been such an eye-opener for her, I thought I'd pass it along to you. If your local library has a copy, it might be worth checking out. :)

thank you! I will definitely look into this since the meds are helping some but not 100 percent. The meds have helped me stop gaining weight but I have struggled to lose it despite being active so maybe that book will have some helpful info.
