Description

Do You practice any kind of martial arts? If yes, which style? If not, which is Your favourite? Post a YT video if You'd like.

I have practiced Chen style tai ji quan for 10 years, but had to stop because of work and having 2 children :) But I intend to go back.

My master is Gabor Molnar (20th generation), who is a student of Han Kui Yuan (19th generation), who is a student of Feng Zhiqiang (18th generation) and He has learned from the Legendary Chen Fake.

I never liked watching Martial Arts, was always more interested in doing it and trying to perfect technique.

Thanks but I'm too lazy and weak to learn a martial art

Being weak is not an excuse :) For example tai ji and aikido uses the opponents own strength against them.
Being lazy is another thing :)

I don't practice, but as an observer and fan I do find myself lamenting the fact that TMA has become more marginalized in the public imagination, as MMA has become so popular. The dominance of grappling and wrestling oriented martial arts bores the heck out of me, even as I acknowledge it's effectiveness and contemporary relevance. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that traditional hand-to-hand and kicking martial arts are much more exciting and I miss their prominence in our culture. I want more old-school Bruce Lee, and less of the Gracie dynasty.

In my youth I attempted to be a drunken master. I mastered the drunken part quite admirably. I never got around to the rest of it.

Not anymore, unfortunately... Long time ago, I practiced "T'ai Chi Ch'uan" mixed with self-defense for about 2 years
