Personally, I haven't played this game. From what I know, it is a cross between Fallout and BioShock. It lacks the adventure and non-linearity and level openness of Fallout (in this case, it's more like BioShock), but it's a great FPS. You don't depend on experience points. Instead, you improve your character by obtaining better and crazier weapons and gadgets. There are also some really great level designs and detailed environments.
But hey, I wouldn't know, I'm just going by word of mouth and videos. Whoever wins, see for yourself :P

As far as I know, this game has a mode of cooperative games. With the ability for two people. But if I do not know ... As a fan of this developer, I know that will not disappoint. I would buy this game if it was available in the store. However, for Russia, I do not know why the game is not available Beshtda studio. This upset me, I would have bought and The elder scrols and Fallout 3 and more. But unfortunately there is simply no such possibility, and versions of "boxed" just do not dohotyat to my region.

Germany has a region lock on many games too, but I have a friend there who bought Skyrim and Fallout: New Vegas on amazon.co.uk and had no trouble redeeming the key on Steam. Maybe you could try this. But you also said boxed versions don't work in Russia... so I don't know. Sorry dude :(
