It... did activate and didn't activate at the same time. It activated as "Chef Boris", not as the DLC with Chef Boris. I can still buy the DLC, it doesn't register as owned for me.
Will look further into it.

Edit: Well, I can change to Boris ingame, so the DLC works. But it doesn't show up as activated. Weird. Will click received and will find a solution for it being activated.
