Killing Floor 2 is the only other one I'm really looking forward to. Even then, some mixed feelings. While the sound design and visuals are superb, I still have some reservations with regards to gameplay. I hope Tripwire is able to make it into a fitting successor to the original, but right now...I still prefer playing the first game.

The gun sounds in KF2 sound very....underwhelming.

I feel the same way with KF2, and I can't quite figure out why. The original game hooked me, and I poured 300 hours into it, and while the second is technically better in so many ways, it just doesn't have that same addictive "just one more round" quality to it for me. At least not yet.

I'm not planning on getting KF2 any time soon, but I probably will eventually. I haven't put enough hours into 1 to justify buying 2.
