Description

I entered the key using the number "0". Should it not work, try using the letter "O".

Thanks!

Is that a new anti-bot tactic?

I don't understand the question?

He is asking if you intentionally picked 0 to prevent bots from using the key. In some parts of the site like key-drop threads, people will switch out numbers and letters as a sort of puzzle to prevent bots from automatically detecting and redeeming keys.

I did not create the key. The key was purchased. So I received it with a character or characters that I cannot tell which it (they) are. I had to guess when I keyed that key here on steamgifts since I cannot test it without using it myself. My message is simply to alert whoever wins the key that should the key as I entered gets rejected... try changing any number zero in the key as I entered it to the letter "O".

Just as greatmastermario said. Guess you didn't intent it to be an anti-bot things.
Anyway, creating a puzzle in the key might be a good way to make sure that the bots end up using the points but still don't get the key. However, this would still be waste of key since the GA creator can not detect if the key has been claimed or not. Not sure if overall it's something people should use or not.
