As you need to get off this island but now don't have a means to do so maybe you could stow on board Captain Pixel's ship and steal off when he gets to his next port? In all the confusion of the pirate attack you manage to slip on board.
However, your plans come undone when in the early morning a Sea Monster attacked the ship.
Still one of my all time favourite games :)

It looks like my sort of thing but the graphics gave me an immediate headache for some reason. I need to revisit it some time.
