It's good to see that some people are still interested in our past :) Do you have a favorite period ?

I am still in high school It's just we needed to make a documentary and write a report about the first world war and the impact it had on the civillians in our city

You should try with cats. Cats are always a good way of learning something, especially gravity.

Nope, but thanks for the tip ! :) I used to have coding lessons during my engineering classes but I've never really understood something...

Computer engineering and trust me, it sounds more exciting than it really is. :p

I've been studying maths and engineering for 4 years, so I have a little idea about it :) We focused on mechanical and electrical engineering, but the computer part was funny.

We supposedly studied computer engineering but most of it was math, so there. Maybe we even went to the same school! ;p

I live in Greece. :( I've been in south France though once with high school. We stayed in Mont Pellier and drove around to see places ( including Avignon and Monaco ). :)

That's funny, I'm Greek (from Athens to be precise) :) But I live in France since childhood.
I hope you enjoyed the trip :)

Oooh imagine that. :D I did, thank you. :) I liked Avignon the most, the gothy pope castle/house was most impressive.

I was quite disappointed when I discover that the bridge of Avignon (which is very famous in France) was just a disued bridge, whose construction never finished... >.<

I've been 'studying' Mongo, a NoSQL database.
It's been really interesting to see a breakthrough on the way we store data, and how limited views/ideas we had in the past.

Atheism.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I didn't knonw you could study atheism... May I ask what it's about ?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

First, let's define "study". I am not being formally trained in atheism, but rather it is an idea that I am researching in my free time. In many ways studying atheism is studying logic, because it teaches you how to recognize and expose common logical fallacies of theists. Atheism is a philosophical viewpoint, so it is studied like any other philosophy.

Comment has been collapsed.

Well, your definition of studying is not what I was thinking about, but why not :) I consider atheism as a philosophy too, it's more a way of being than formal classes, that's why I was suprised at your answer. Thanks for your comment !

Wow, that's impressive ! How can you find the time for all of these ? I want to know the secret :p
Do you study languages for a personnal purpose or just by pleasure ?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It's easier when the languages are similar and Spanish and Portugese are very similar. Swedish and German and English also have some similarities between them. An easy way to get into it is using Duolingo :D.
