You confused me with this information.
There should be a full game. Not "guest pass" or something like that.
Normal game has been purchased, as a gift.

Wait, I think I figured it out - the copy you gave me activates on my account, then it gives me an item to send the pass to a friend. That's a bit confusing q:

So, you have full game CS:S in your library + CS:S guest pass at invetory ?

As i understood from these threads, when you activated full CS:S on your account, you also receiving gift "CS:S guest pass" to your inventory.

Yeah, the game is in my library, and a guest pass was placed in my inventory. It seems those are meant to be given to friends so they could try the game out for a short period q:
