Hi, first of all, thanks for the giveaway.

I've noticed you haven't set a level restriction in your giveaways, may i suggest, that you do so in your future ones?
The reason is simple, there are a lot of bad accounts on this site, like autojoiners, multis, bots, win resellers and other rule breakers or just leechers, who doesn't contribute to the site at all, and most of them are found on level 0.
I even suggest to set an higher level than 1, because it will cost like 10 Cent to reach that level, even level 3 is pretty cheap to reach and will costs like 10 to 20 bucks, also being poor isn't an excuse for me, because i live below the poverty line of my country and even i managed to get to level 5 in few months.
Another advantage of setting the bar higher is, that you won't get bothered by all the annoying thank you messages from autojoiners with thank you script, that's why i set my bar even higher to at least level 4 and level 3 being the real exception.
You can even go right away and delete your giveaway to set it up new with a level restriction, if you wish to do so, deletion of running giveaways are accepted instantly.

with 970k users on level 0 85% of the accounts on the site haven't contributed with a giveaway and just there for leeching, another reason for setting up a level restriction.

and i call only taking and not giving leeching, sucking the life (GAs) out of this site, don't you see the site dying, ah right, you're a leecher and think you have the right to have everything for free, classic free culture mindset
let me educate you, that most gifters are very thankful for my advice, even some who are years around, but as a leecher, of course you find it annoying, but you're in the minority here

and why there are levels, when this is only a gifting site, maybe it isn't a pure gifting site despite the name, you know Shell isn't saving sealife either or Oxfam has something to do with oxes

facepalm, if you want to call me an idiot, then call me an idiot, dont use a comparison that poses me as doing something I'm not.

Doesnt suprise me to see you havent been here long (at least not on that account), you likely dont know how things where before the spam, bots and giveaways being a market.

The problem isnt so much with what you are saying (well, when you arent busy namecalling or misrepresenting either what my opinion is, or someone elses), but the fact that you act just like when right-wings want less economical support to low-income or vulnerable people and go act like everyone who gets something for free is a lazy bum with noone but themselves to blame. At least that is the impression Im getting, if that isnt true, then my apologizes.

Back when I joined, people did GA's because they had a leftover game or got activations for one or something and had no friend to gift it to, which is why I havent done a GA for so long, because I neither really have the money, nor is it something that I feel very inclined to do...I mean, if we are completely honest, if I had the money to spend on making GA's to random people, then I've already a few friends and aquaintanses that I already do trust (not that I mistrust people, but I cant find a better word for trust by familiarity) that I would target with gifts etc, which ironically doesnt seem to be too far from how you want it, no?

That being said, I understand the whole dynamic of things and like Im perfectly fine if like triple A games or expensive game and stuff are mostly locked behind levels, noone has an obligation to gift or a privilege to get gifts after all, but I honestly think things are going too far when it is all about expecting something in return, and actually free gifts tend to make the most impact for both giver and taker, at least that is my experience.

I gotta say once again though, there isnt anything as a 'leacher' on a webiste for giving away things for free, there are however practices that are unfair and trying to get too big a piece of the cake, that I obviously wouldnt dispute.

well, you obviously didn't read my first post, but let me repeat it for you, i myself live below the poverty line and managed to get to level 5 in few months, so you got something wrong with your assumption, i think everyone, who doesn't contribute to the site is a stingy bum, because they bought a computer, which costed several hundred bucks once, have to pay, rent, food and other stuff, but opts to don't spent money here, not even a buck a month, which leads me to my first answer, everything comes with a price, free culture thinking

no, i don't want gifting in an enclosed circle, i like the surprise effect and i like the site how it is, minus the low levels, i have friends, but i never gift to them, i prefer to buy things i need myself, sorry my PTSD kicks in hard today again, i need to take a break offline

You misunderstand, I didnt mean to say that you have more than one account, I meant to say that I didnt know if you where new or had been here before (like, you couldve just forgotten your password and not had access to your email because it was so long ago and had to make a new one or something).

Again, I didnt say you are a right-winger, I said your line of thinking and painting everyone with the same brush as bad people gives me a similar feeling.

Im not against what you are saying, Im mostly against the brick wall sort of reasoning, I guess, like I get the feeling you feel like it is a black and white issue, but maybe Im wrong.

Also, my intention is not to throw dirt on anyone, but maybe you should put down your own spade as well.

As for free culture, thats not it, and Im not sure if thats like some sort of actual movement or philosofy, but Ive never heard of it, but when it comes to a computer I do a hell of a lot more than just play games, and said computer lasts longer than a game, so it is fundamentally different. Also I dont know of any websites where they gift computers, so... ;)

But opinions, eh? To be honest, everyone should probably take a break offline more often XD
