This is the game that cRPG fans have been waiting a decade for.
Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale, and Planescape: Torment got together and had a baby. A magic bear baby. With plenty of depth, and lots of reading. Actually maybe this game is for bookworms. Collect books, steal books, and do lots of reading. But with combat, interesting places, and camping. The voice acting and soundtrack are also well received.
A more serious game, you'll need a rather substantial chunk of time to fully work your way through it. But the vast majority find it rewarding after having done so.
