If you are thinking about self harm, please don't. It's not a beneficial behavior and there are things that can help you get out of that mindset.
For me, anti-anxiety meds and a general reduction in stress worked wonders. TBH, it was a bit freaky at first to walk across a parking lot, smile, and say "Oh, this is what happy feels like," but I heartily recommend it.
