Description

Tyler Amm's new horror comedy Grace's Room is up on Kickstarter with 48 hours left. I was involved with his first film, and it turned out well and was a blast to work on. Here's the spec trailer, this gives you a look at the plot and the tone this film will have. Please check it out and see if you might like the film.

Hopefully kickstarter is showing the real $ needed for the entire development. I heard that their goals intend to be understated.

Yeah, it's definitely filmed on a tight budget. For River City Panic, the $8,000 from the Kickstarter and the money that Tyler had saved up went almost entirely into renting a camera and lighting. For night shots we needed a good 5-10 lights set up, and we had a generator or two on set depending on what lights were used. I believe that all of the actors did the film for free, and everyone on crew did for sure. Outside of the lighting Tyler had to make sure that he had water and snack food on set for 9 days of filming for about 30 people, which I'm sure really added up by the end. Luckily the town was on board 100%, and they let us close down a few roads, and we even got to film the police for a few scenes. There were also tons of small business that let us film in their buildings for free.
